A SEA CHANGE

Sometimes leaving the safety of shore can bring up fear of the unknown. Sometimes it can bring the excitement of experiencing something new.

2020 left us no choice but to allow a series of unexpected waves to unmoor us both personally and collectively. Unwelcome change can be very uncomfortable until balance is restored. We have yet to find our new ground and so there is still great potential to learn a better way of being on this earth. As with any learning experience, practice will help us develop new skills and the confidence needed to step out of old fears and outmoded ways of doing and open to new potentials of being.

Eventually, we will return to terra firma. It is my intention to find solid ground by learning all I can from this experience.

Here’s to letting go of the past and to fully stepping into the possibility of the present.

A BEGINNING

Today marks the start of a new year, a new decade and a new venture for me as an artist. Pacific Shore Studio is now a reality and I am so excited to start creating art with the intention of supporting ocean and marine life conservation.

It’s time to get to work!
